FAIRFIELD —
Instead of students and classes this afternoon it was police dogs and searching.
Fairfield’s Vanden High School was emptied by a bomb threat.
“We received an anonymous call at about 1:10 p.m. in the main office of the high school,” said Chris Hullet, Travis Unified School District.
The school has been cleared as safe. Police are no longer searching for an explosive.
Now they’re for the source of the call and the reasons why it was made.
It’s a crime that officers, and the district, take extremely seriously.
