“We’ve had a long history with Kevin and we couldn’t be happier to have him back in the studio fold. He’s a terrific guy, incredibly passionate and driven, and his scripts always feel so contemporary and real,” said 20th Century Fox TV president of creative affairs Jonnie Davis, adding: “He’s just a fantastic writer and we’re thrilled to have him exclusively at 20th.”
The veteran showrunner brings with him an impressive résumé, which includes film work as well critical darlings Sports Night and The West Wing, among other shows. Falls hasn’t wasted any time at 20th, quickly selling a drama project to sibling network Fox.
Titled Castlebar, Falls’ latest entry is being billed as a high-stakes workplace drama about a 30-something wunderkind who returns to his alma mater and convinces the trustees to hire him as university president. Falls will write and executive produce the project, which sold as a script plus penalty.
Falls is repped by WME and attorney Stuart Rosenthal of Bloom Hergott.
