ROSEVILLE-

Roseville Police have arrested the man suspected in Monday’s carjacking and kidnapping.

Officers say 33-year-old Michael Anthony Milan carjacked a Volkswagen Jetta in front of a store on Douglas Boulevard near Rocky Ridge Drive.

A woman and a young girl were inside, police said.

The two were let out a little more than a mile away on North Sunrise Avenue, and detectives say Milan left with the car.

Investigators were able to track Milan down in Sacramento County, and arrested him Wednesday evening.

Milan was booked into Placer County Jail on charges of carjacking and kidnapping during a carjacking. He is being held on $2.1 million bail.
