I have been using Nova launcher for years now, and every new phone I get, I put it on. To me, upgrading to Prime was worth it for the extra features but mostly because I felt like the dev(s) deserve the support. The level of customisation is just right and I've never had a problem with it. Update: OG review is from 2018, and I'm still using it in 2025.

I really like this launcher and have used it on and off for many years. Stopped using it about 5 years ago because it hadn't been updated in years but suddenly it was! Then I had trouble with it freezing which I hoped would end with the last update that followed but it didn't. It's still freezing so I hope the next update will sort that as I really like this apart from that issue.

Absolutely the best launcher out there - no contest. Stellar job, team! Just a quick note for the developers: the one feature that could truly crush the competition would be a seamless backup and restore system - especially one that includes home screen folder setups. Setting everything up from scratch on a new phone every year? Total pain in the a$$. You’ve nailed everything else, now let’s make this happen! Still a loyal user since day one of Nova’s launch. Never looked back.
