ELK GROVE-
Elk Grove Police are searching for the two suspects responsible for an armed robbery that happened in front of a home on Hume Court near Emerald Vista Drive on Tuesday night.
According to police, two men confronted the victim on his driveway. They then got into an altercation, and the victim was shot in the torso after the two suspects robbed him.
Soon after, the two suspects fled the scene on foot.
Police are now searching for any information regarding the suspect’s identity.
Officers canvassed the neighborhood, and got in touch with businesses in the area to see if their surveillance cameras caught anything around the time of the robbery.
The victim was transported to the hospital, and his condition is unknown at this time.
