American Idol season-10 alum Haley Reinhart has expanded her deal with independent rights management company ole, it was announced.
While her current deal included multiple sync placements of her music — on Lifetime TV, James Cameron’s Years of Living Dangerously, ABC’s Rookie Blue and the feature film Step Up: Revolution — the expansion will give ole worldwide co-publishing rights on her existing catalog and future catalog. Reinhart will also receive financial support to record a new EP.
“Haley is an amazing songwriter with a great career ahead of her, and we’re excited to be on her team as she continues her journey toward stardom,” said Leo V. Williams IV, general manager of creative at ole’s Los Angeles branch. “While most people know her from American Idol, her songs deserve to be appreciated on their own merits, and we’re happy to provide the exposure they need to catch on.”
“It’s been a marvelous experience working with such a unique company like ole,” added the Wheeling, Illinois native. “They are very attentive and knowledgeable of the ins and outs of the industry. I’ve become close with so many writers, producers and staff on board over the past few years. … We’ve accomplished so much together already. I’m excited to see us bloom into our full potential.”
Just this past summer, Reinhart released a video for the song, “Show Me Your Moves,” which featured fellow season-10 finalist Casey Abrams on bass. Watch it below:
