Elk Grove Police arrested two men Friday afternoon who were allegedly openly dealing drugs near an Elk Grove school. 

According to Elk Grove Police, officers contacted Elk Grove residents 30-year old Gabriel Espinoza and 22-year old Anthony Defazio after observing activity consistent with hand-to-hand drug transaction with a third party. The transaction took place on the 9600 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road, near Joseph Kerr Junior High School. Officers also discovered both men are currently on probation. 

A search of Espinoza's vehicle led to the discovery of narcotics and indicia of sales while a search of Defazio led to the discovery of narcotics. Both suspects were arrested and booked into the county jail.
