STOCKTON-

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction of whomever shot a woman Tuesday night in a Stockton Costco parking lot.

Investigators say the woman put her purse in her car while loading purchases when a man grabbed it. When she confronted the man, police say he shot her.

Her wound is not considered to be life-threatening.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man standing at 5-feet-9-inches with a mustache and curly hair. He’s believed to be in his 30’s.

Police say the man may have gotten into a silver, 2006 Toyota 2-door and drove away down Montauban Avenue, then Hammer Lane.

The $20,000 reward is being offered by anonymous donors.
