I've had this kevo lock for years and its never really worked well. Now the app won't stay open on my phone so it often doesn't work. I bought the August lock for my other house and it works much better, and will likely replace this kevo with an August. I just get the impression that kevo is not a priority for the company so they don't really put much effort into it. Check out the August lock...works better.

It worked on one of 3 housemates phones for about a year. When updated to Android 10, using the dark theme--the app no longer opens and will not work what so ever to lock the door. I gave it two stars simply because it did work at one point. At which time it was very unreliable to lock the door, the app would close on it's own. I could get it to lock if I took the phone out of my pocket and held it close which basically was what I was attempting to avoid by pulling out keys. Product not worth.

Can not wait to change these locks! Seemed like it would work, but no. Just about more than half the time, it won't, or it will who knows, really. I still haven't figured out what conditios must be met for it to function properly. Patience is required when expecting this to function as intended, and best not to be in a rush when leaving anywhere. Or just leave the doors unlocked, walk away, and try again next time.
