ELK GROVE-

According to police, a man was arrested in connection with three stabbings after an incident in an Elk Grove apartment complex parking lot.

Loc Nguyen, 20, was arrested at Kaiser South for the assault that occurred at the Crossings Apartments on Elk Grove-Florin Road.

The incident began when Nguyen and another person got into an argument with three other people on the evening of Friday, December 5th. According to police, the two groups argued about speeding in the parking lot of the apartment complex where children were nearby.

Nguyen allegedly stabbed the three victims with what appeared to be a folding pocket knife, but all three of the victims’ injuries were deemed non-life threatening.

Police say Nguyen went to Kaiser South around 7 p.m. with a small fracture to his pinky finger and bruises to his face and hands. Officers then arrived and arrested him for the stabbings.

Police are searching for the man Nguyen was allegedly with during the stabbing, who they have identified as an 18-year-old named Johnny Tran.
