DAVIS-
The Yolo County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identities of the man and woman found dead Friday morning inside a Davis home.
Investigators have not yet released the cause of death for Joseph Andrew Hein, 23, and 27-year-old Whitney Joypauline Engler.
According to officers, a man called in a report of two people shot inside the Glacier Drive home. Police and SWAT officers swarmed the home and staged a perimeter for hours, believing there was a person inside armed with a high-powered rifle.
Four houses surrounding the home were evacuated.
Police did not say if they had a suspect in mind.
