Teen killed, 1 critically injuried in Jackson shooting

Jackson police are searching for two suspects involved in a Saturday morning homicide that left one victim dead and another on life support.

WLBT reports James Hunter, 19, was shot multiple times on Robinson Road near Loflin Drive. A second victim has been taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center with a life-threatening injury to the head.

Police said a green Honda Accord was seen leaving the gas station's parking lot behind the victim's vehicle about 10 minutes before the shooting.

The Accord was recovered by police around 3:15 p.m. on Shaw Road, WLBT reports.

Hunter drove himself to a gas station 400 block of Highway 80 where he died of his injuries. Two other people have been interviewed by police at the station, WJTV reports.
