Yuba County Code Enforcement conducting a marijuana compliance check discovered 617 plants at an Olivehurst residence, leading sheriff's deputies to illegal guns and processed pot at a second site.
Lus Marlin Aguilara, 36, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale, planting marijuana, possession of an assault weapon and cruelty to child at her Olivehurst residence on Monday morning after a search of her home in the 2200 block of August Way.
On July 7, she allegedly admitted responsibility for 617 plants found at the 6100 block of Brophy Road, according to Yuba County Undersheriff Jerry Read.
A search of the August Way home a week later by sheriff's deputies revealed an AK-47 assault rifle, an AR-15 assault rifle, six handguns and 25 pounds of processed marijuana. Some of the marijuana was found in the suspect's 7-year-old child's bedroom.
Maximinio Martinez-Ramirez, the father of the child, was also arrested for child endangerment.
