Think you've been on some bad flights? At least they weren't Flight 666 to HEL, departing Friday the 13th. It's a very real trip, and it's actually pretty crowded.

Finnair flight AY666 from Copenhagen to Helsinki (HEL) will actually be taking off twice on Friday the 13th, but that doesn't seem to have unnerved many passengers; almost all its seats are taken. And among the unsuspicious travelers who take pains to laugh in the face of the Baphomet is the captain, Juha-Pekka Keidasto. "It has been quite a joke among the pilots," he told the Guardian, blatantly tempting fate. "I'm not a superstitious man. It's only a coincidence for me."

Apparently, flights over the Baltic tend to be pretty serene this time of year, so 666 to HEL ought to be pretty pleasant. Still, it doesn't hurt to be prepared for a little turbulence, natural or supernatural. "[If] there's some passenger who is anxious about this 666, our cabin crew is always happy to help them," Keidasto says. Complimentary exorcisms for all! [The Guardian]
