Although dwarfed in size compared to last week's pot house bust, Elk Grove Police Street Crimes Unit busted another indoor marijuana growing operation yesterday morning in Elk Grove.

According to police reports, search warrants were served on the 7200 block of Saltgrass Way. During the course of the search, officers located 25 marijuana plants, processed marijuana and indicia of sales.

Two suspects, 42-year old Griff Jeske and 41-year old Vincent Sparks, both of Elk Grove, were arrested. Sparks who was found in possession of a controlled substance, was issued a misdemeanor while Jeske was booked into the county jail but has been released on bail.

Last week the EGPD's Street Crimes Unit arrested two suspects who allegedly had an indoor grow operation that was cultivating over 400 plants.
