Maybe it was the drug paraphernalia allegedly found in their possession or the nature of their work. Whatever the reason, two Sonora Calif. residents were awakened from a car nap late yesterday morning to find they were being arrested.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, officers contacted suspects 31-year old Jacob Jason Brown and 25-year old Melissa Brown after receiving a call regarding two people sleeping in a vehicle on the 4700 block of Elk Grove Boulevard. A records search revealed the vehicle has been reported stolen to the Sonora Police Department.

After waking and detaining Brown and Murray, they were found to be in possession of narcotics paraphernalia. The suspects were arrested and Murray remains in custody at the county jail on a $45,000 bail.
