WEST SACRAMENTO–

Last year the three-day TBD festival brought music, art and culture to West Sacramento.

This year organizers are bringing it back with more venders and big headliners.

A partial lineup was released Friday. It includes artists Pretty Lights, Tears for Fears, Cut Copy and more.

“We get to bring acts to our city that have never been here before. We get to highlight some of our really local amazing talent,” said TBD Media Producer Lisa Kennedy.

Last year almost 8,000 fans came each day to take in that amazing talent.

For some who live within earshot of the venue, the music came as a surprise.

“We weren’t expecting that much noise coming through,” said Thor Benzing.

Despite the noise, Benzing feels TBD is a good thing for our area.  It boosts the economy, creates jobs and brings out of towners to the Sacramento area.

“It also puts us on the map, so hopefully it will bring other venues to our city here,” said Benzing.

TBD is September 18-20.

Tickets are already on sale.
