Trendy Greek Yogurt Chobani Is Officially The Top Selling Brand In America
The yogurt industry is booming thanks to a Greek yogurt craze and an obsession with macrobiotic health benefits.

Sales for the top ten brands totaled $1.9 billion for the 52 weeks ending Sept. 4, according to SymphonyIRI Group (via Ad Age).
Chobani, a tiny player that helped create the Greek yogurt trend has topped giants like Dannon Co. and General Mills. In the Greek yogurt segment it has 49% of the market share, and in yogurt it has catapulted to the top spot with 10.32% of the market share.
