**Update** The first round of WDS 2016 tickets sold out quickly, but we’ll release one more (small and final) round in the spring. If you’d like to join us, be sure you’re on the waiting list for first notice.

Next week we’ll release the first round of tickets for WDS 2016, a global gathering like no other!

But first, we’re rolling out a series of speaker videos from the 2015 event. Megan Devine, author of the audiobook, When Everything is Not Okay: Practices to Help You Stay in Your Heart & Not Lose Your Mind, called on us to approach life’s challenges differently for ourselves and the people we love.

Check out the video!

“When you hear the pain of the world, it’s not a call to overcome it – it’s not a call to overcome anything. When you hear the pain of the world, it’s a call to love.”

“Pain deserves acknowledgement, not repair. We need to start telling new stories about bravery in the face of pain that can’t be fixed.”

“We don’t need new tools for how to get out of grief, we need to learn the skills for how to withstand it. We need to learn to bear witness.”

“The path of bearing witness is the true path of love. You are not helpless in the face of someone’s pain. Hearing someone’s pain and letting them have it is an amazing gift.”
