This game should NOT be rated ALL AGES. A ...
This game should NOT be rated ALL AGES. A user of any age can get a gun for the character and shoot other characters. They can also have corpses that need caskets, and have to be buried to continue in the game. You can get matches, light things on fire, have blood squirt out of characters, etc. This is really inappropriate for 1st and 2nd grade kids to be playing. It becomes graphic in content simply by typing in graphic words. That should not be something accessible for young children. See photos for examples.

Head and shoulders above 99% of games on Android platform. It is not perfect though, but I am trying to even out things from the bad reviews that are not deserved, so 5 stars instead of 4.

The innovation is crazy. I could play all day just on the menu screen. The levels are so fun to solve in different ways. Like the Knight and the lake: first I killed the shark with an orca or two, then I swam across and gave the Knight a Pegasus to ride on, because he is not keen on dragons or griffins.

I like the levels where I can solve things my own way. Not crazy about the levels where I have to chose three specific items from a list the game has in mind.

Some people in reviews said they could not make items. This is because there is a very clear enter button next to the word that does not work at all on two devices I own, one high end, one midrange. I have to push the enter game on the phone keyboard, and it works fine.

Other small issues: you are limited in changing your environment. I can't make an ocean or a lake to ride a boat in. I can flood the place, but it kills my character, even when he is in a boat.
It is difficult to pick up small items. The touch controls seem a bit off.

Holy fudge cake Mc.nuggets I have been waiting for this game forever and I can't believe it came for android. This game is a fifteen to thirty dollar game somehow de-creased to a 2 dollar game. Same features, unlimited creativity thinking, and just plain out awesome. Any level can be sandbox yet they added a sandbox which is awesome and you can create anything you want. A giant unicorn with a cowboy alien with a rocket launcher fighting God with sunglasses wearing a football helmet and a baseball hat and holding a machine gun riding an giant ape holding a rocktlauncher or just a butterfly :I. You imagination is the limit, as said in the description. In the original version you can only have so many things out at once yet in this version you can have as many things as you want out. This is for creative thinkers and is just amazing. I'm a random guy and I love this what can I say. I don't know about that other dude but I think it's really easy to pick things up, but I'm a 14 year old so don't listen to me, hint hint. I really recommend this to everybody. I'll give it a five all the way. Thanks for reading this and I really hope you buy the app for you sake it really is my most favorite game/app ever.

Scirbblenauts Remix is a nice amalgam of the DS Scribblenauts titles. The on screen keyboard is more responsive than the DS stylus.

The game is all about challenging yourself. You can solve many puzzles using the same few items if you just want to rush through. You can also have a lot of fun thinking of the most creative solution. I can see handing the free mode to my kids and letting them come up with random stuff and just having fun with it.

There are some levels where your thinking won't really match up with the developers, and you might end up running to the web, but that doesn't take away too much.

The major issue I have is the occasional graphical issues and crashes the game experiences. Granted I am running a nightly version of CM10.1 on my Sprint Galaxy S3, but other games run with zero issues.

It's certainly worth your .99 cents, and worth the additional .99 to unlock the remaining half of the levels. The additional character skins feel a bit like a money grab, but when you consider the pricetag on the original DS version, even buying all of those makes this version a steal.

First off, I feel it should be noted that it is almost impossible to play the game with the default controls, which have you touch the screen to run, pick up objects, and perform actions with objects. Even on a fairly large screen, if you don't touch just right, the game thinks you're telling Maxwell to run, so that's all that will happen. I spent several frustrating levels tapping over and over again (even tried using a stylus) trying to pick up the things I'd created until I discovered there is a "Joystick" option in the settings.

Also, I don't think the game ever explains this, but each time you beat a level you get a silver crown. However if you go back and re-solve a level three times (but each time you can't summon an object you previously used) you get a gold crown. Some of the levels however give you a gold star when you first solve them and these can't be replayed for the gold crowns. Again, this isn't ever explained anywhere I could find (online or in the game) but that seems to be how it works. The game does tell you how many gold crowns are available if you look in the bottom right corner of the level select screen.

Anyway, the game was actually a lot of fun until somewhere around World Three (I think) where I encountered a weird glitch on the Dragon level. In replaying it, the game kept telling me over and over again "You already used that" meaning I had previously summoned that item on that level. At first I thought it was me, but then I started typing in just random things (things I know I never used) and got the same message.

I wasn't going to let that one level ruin the game so I decided to move on and come back to it. I played the game off and on through most of the first day I got it. Then the next day I opened it...and all my progress was gone. Just as someone else mentioned here, it showed that I had a gold crown on the first two levels of World One and that was it. All the other levels showed as though they had never been played and I was locked out of all the Worlds beyond One.

I don't know if signing in to Amazon Game Circle makes a difference but when I checked back on the One Star reviews on this game I saw that several people had experienced this same problem. The game was a FAOTD for me, so no big loss, but I certainly wouldn't recommend buying it. (Plus all the in-app purchases are as expensive as the game itself.)

Anyway, the game isn't really playable in its current state. If it ever gets fixed I think it would be a lot of fun, but right now, it's just too broken.

Cute kids game that runs very well on my BlackBerry Z30. Using simple controls, you guide a character through a map and create objects to allow the character to progress by writing down the object you wish to create.

Recomendo.
