The prosecution has yet to decide whether they would like to seek the death penalty against Jaime Ramos and Pablo Ruvalcaba.
The two were involved in the bank robbery that took the life of hostage Misty Singh.
The case has more than 2,100 pages of discovery and 27 new digital pieces of information, including photos analysis and interviews that have yet to be fully explored by the prosecution and the defense.
A hearing scheduled for Monday morning was expected to deliver a trial date however that is being held up there will be another meeting to discuss a trial date on June 8 at the San Joaquin County Courthouse in Stockton.
