You don't need to be flush to eat here: Inside Moscow's new toilet-themed cafe where diners sit on loo seats, eat from bathtubs and drink from urinal cups
- Crazy Toilet Cafe in Russia follows a number of Asian eateries taking their design inspiration from bathrooms
- Restaurant serves a faecal-themed menu including brown mushroom soup, sausages and chocolate ice cream
- Interior sports a toilet design throughout with cisterns on the walls, bathroom tiles and bed pan table decorations
The restaurant craze of taking design inspiration from toilets has now spread from Asia to Europe.
Crazy Toilet Cafe, a new eatery in Moscow recently opened its doors to invite diners to sit on seats resembling toilets while being served food in crockery created to look like small bath tubs and urinals.
The restaurant's colourful interior continues the lavatorial aesthetic as it's furnished with multi-coloured tiles on the counters and cisterns adorning the walls. Even the flower table decorations are presented in bed pans.
A faecal-themed menu offers punters the chance to gorge on a brown mushroom soup, sausages and mashed potato and chocolate ice cream- all of course served in toilet bowls.
In the style of any public bathroom there are also faeces-themed cartoons on the walls.
However, none of the toilets in the main restaurant are usable to prevent diners from pushing the theme too far.
