A man was left with two broken legs when he fell down a lift shaft after kicking through the elevator door.
CCTV footage shows the young Chinese man attacking the lift's metallic doors after allegedly becoming frustrated that it had not arrived despite him pressing the button.
He is seen running from out of shot and launching an airborne fly-kick, forcing the shaft's right hand door out of its locked position.
The lout then takes a step back, before returning to the metal shutter to examine the damage he has caused.
However, without thinking he leans directly into it, his weight pushing the now loose door open.
He then collapses into the lift shaft, his trailing knee smashing off the floor surface as he falls into the dark hole.

As they poke their heads in, the seriousness of the situation clearly becomes apparent.

Employees wearing waistcoats can be seen examining the situation before the emergency services were called.
The man - who has not been identified - survived but broke both of his legs in the horror fall.
It looks like his hospital stay will be longer than his wait for the next lift.
