STOCKTON —
Officers in Stockton have arrested one man for allegedly manufacturing illegal assault rifles and selling large amounts of ecstasy.
Around 7:30 p.m. last night, gang taskforce officers conducted a probation search at a home in the 400 block of Mist Trail Drive. Inside, they found evidence the man inside was manufacturing the rifles and selling the ecstasy.
Officers searched two homes and discovered two assault rifles, 29 (80% complete) lower components for rifles, one complete upper component for a rifle, tools needed to manufacture the rifles, about $2,500 in cash, 78 ecstasy pills, a small amount of cocaine, a scale and packaging.
29-year-old Hoang Dao was arrested on weapon and drug charges.
