Steam Summer Sale 2013 - It's never really over

Well, I DO have Dead Island, so someone who wants both should get your bundle before me. But if you don't find anyone, I'd love to have Saint's Row the Third. It seems to be universally acclaimed around here.

Its amazing, and I am not too worried about the old Dead island. You need to play SR3

I know this isn't the sale anymore, but I want to post a giant thank you to Mateo for his gift of the Risen / Metro2033 / Sacred Citadel three-pack. Many pretend baddies will be killed in your name!

Just back from my vacation. Belated thanks to Mex for Skyrim DLC Dragonborn!!

I have copies of Spec Ops: The Line and X-Com: Enemy Unknown available to gift to someone. First to PM me gets each. No Coffee Grinders, please.

Edit: Both are now claimed!

Also, shouldn't this thread migrate to that one now that sale is over?

Well we could always start talking about the next sale be it Black Friday or the Winter Steam Sale. Both are looking to be quite promising.

And today's Sins: Rebellion sale!

I finally did it... I just ordered all the parts to build my first major PC build. I had a PC in the early 2000's, but it was a Compaq Presario that I bought for school when I went to college (the first time). This time, I'm building one. I think it's going to be a decent rig. And I'll finally be able to play all the PC only games I've acquired during the many sales and humble bundles I've participated in.

Woohoo!!!! Looking forward to pics and updates, JillSammich!!

One of us... One of us...

It sounds like you're in for a ton of fun

Yay! Now come join us in the Build-your-own-pc thread!

Taken already. That was fast!

Nooooooooooooooooooo

Oh wait, I bought the same bundle....

Is it bad that instead of going " Oh, Gone Home, I'll just buy that when I get some spare money" I went "Oh, Gone Home, I'll just pick that up during the next Steam Sale."

Also, what new community feature or change do you think they'll do for the next steam sale? Every steam sale to memory has had one feature or another to promote with it or some small new change to the Steam sale format that keeps it new and different.

Many thanks to alexjg42/BlackBeardRB for Dear Esther! An unexpected and pleasant surprise!

Yeah, I did the same back and forth dance for a few days before concluding that I want to see more games like Gone Home out in the wild so it would be better to pay for it at full price and vote for this type of content with my dollar than to pick it up in six months for under $5.

However, there's plenty of reasonably-priced games ($15-$20) that I totally pass over until they hit that magic <$5 mark, so it's not like I'm a saint or anything.

Dammit! I always miss those XCOM giveaways

Well If anyone has a spare copy to happily give out to an appreciative person, please PM me!

Please!

Cheers,

I hope you enjoy it. I haven't played it so I don't know if it's good or bad. Also if you still want Thomas was alone then check out the humble weekly sale. You can get it for $1

Anyone who doesn't have it yet needs to go buy it and play it!!!! It's so cute and charming and challenging all at once!

Cheers,

GetGames has it for 75% off currently (around £7.50) which is just about as cheap as I've seen it.

I failed to thank Mortalgroove for giving me Sleeping Dogs a few weeks ago. Thank you! I look forward to some kung fu fighting soon.

Hmmm... I feel like I should be playing a game that ends in "IV" right now...

First off, that's a lot of Europa Universalis games being played... second, why blur everyone out? Would they be embarrassed if they knew you posted that they were playing Saints Row?

Terrible person question of the day: does You Need a Budget IV come with trading cards?

lol.

I hope so.

Ha!
