Good for the Money!
It is not the newest and it is not the lightest and it is not the easiest to use. But it has many features that expensive action cameras have and it did not cost me arms-and-legs.

We have options that are affordable
I have always found the action camera market to be a fantastic addition to every lifestyle. What I havent liked it the pricing. The Ion Air Pro Wifi camera doesnt fall in the expensive category, it is quite affordable, and that makes exposing it to the elements and an active lifestyle easier to stomach. Image quality is good, not great. It is 1080p, and that is fantastic, but there is an element missing that is a must for action cameras, and that feature is image stabilization. This missing feature is the only negative for this unit, but it is a big one, it is the one thing keeping this from being a GREAT product. I purchased for use on my MTB for off road use, and it isnt quite up to that task. But for riding on the pavement, the unit performs extremely well. I have mounted it to my vehicle, and it provides great footage as long as the ride is fairly smooth. I gave it a 3 star rating, but it is more of a 3.5 possibly a 4, but the lack of image stabilization is a hard negative to overcome for a camera sold as an action camera. BUT, for the price, it is hard to beat. I have used it daily to record VLOG entries, and it has been fine for that (Tripod use), and I am sure I can find other good uses for it. The Wifi feature is a great bonus to a unit in this price range, and has proven quite useful in normal use. Being able to frame shots using a mobile device is much appreciated. Read full review

ion air pro lite is ready to go out of the box. trying to set up it's program can be trying but with a little pc knowledge, you'll figure it out, after a while. works great with smart phone.

Can't say enough!
This thing is Awsome! The only people complaining about this camera are those who paid 3-4 times as much for a GoPro and are embarrassed that this does as good or better! I am VERY impressed with it's solid construction and ease of use. Video is amazing! The CamLock feature is great for popping off my helmet & popping right back on another vehicle, etc. (I DID have to purchase the Female part of the camlocks separately). I realize that this is last years model and that, the newer, Air Pro 3 might have some improvements - but I can buy 3+ of these for the price on ONE of those. Just ordered another one!

Was a good buy but not worth the money.
Short battery life, shuts down when recording on its own, won't connect to the computer, you have to perform a reset to get the ION connect program back on SD card. Should record for up to 2.5 hours I get maybe 1.5 hours. Recordings can be long or short bursts depending when the camera decides to stop recording. The action cam is well built and light. It just doesn't perform. I'm back to using 4 Contour Action Cams.

Great little motorcycle camera
This is a great camera for the money and for my purposes and is the second one I've owned. I use it as a handlebar cam on my Harley and it works perfect as a "proof of fault" camera, in case of an accident and in addition to capturing a lot of great highway moments.It does get a bit too much vibration as a handlebar cam, though software allows the vibration to be edited out. Works best when mounted as a helmet cam.I also can attest to the water resistance as I've ridden through many heavy showers with it and never had a problem.

Got cha on camera with Air Pro!
This camera is a good value. I bought a couple of these to use as dash cams for my cars. Get the additional kits to mount the cameras for body, and car use and you're good to go. When I go on my excursions, I will be taking one of these with me ( zip lining ).

Stripped Threads
I like it a lot. I use it on my MC. However, my fears were, and came today, the threads ont he camera are stripped andI can not mount it. Interesting, the threads on the female end , the mount that came with the purchase, it , attaches to the handle bars and they are fine. Wish it was vice versa. Now I can't mount it and I am sad.
