In 2015, the Institution’s Virtual Library achieved over 250,000 member sessions, with a total of 180,000 resource downloads – representing a growth of 16% compared to the previous year.
Sarah Rogers, the Institution’s Head of Information and Library Services, said: “New for 2016 are over 5,000 new ebook titles from Wiley and Elsevier, and over 200 core Elsevier engineering ejournal titles.
“Key journal titles such as Wear, International Journal of Pressure Vessels and Piping, Fuel and Tribology Today have been added, all of which our members can find using the Library Search. Wiley handbooks on topics such as space technology, reliability engineering and noise and vibration are also available for chapter download via the Library Search.”
