ROCKLIN —

An overturned big rig blocked several lanes of eastbound Interstate 80 near Highway 65 on Sunday evening.

According to the CHP, a semi-truck was traveling along I-80 near the Highway 65 connector. Another vehicle crashed into the big rig.  The big rig lost control and overturned.

The big rig was laying on its side, and several emergency vehicles were in the area. The truck was carrying a load of Powerade.

A little diesel fuel was spilled, but it has already been cleaned up.

No one was injured in the crash.

Traffic is very slow moving as three of the four lanes of eastbound I-80 were closed.

Caltrans estimated the highway would reopen about midnight.
