RENO, Nevada (AP) —

Authorities have made an arrest in the shooting death of a Reno woman along an interstate near the Nevada-California border.

The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday that 33-year-old Maurice Di Aundra Rogers has been booked on murder charges.

He is being held without bail.

Investigators say the body of 46-year-old Felicia Romaine Spruell-Jones was found with gunshot wounds last week off Interstate 80 at an exit east of Truckee.

They determined Rogers was a person of interest and began searching for him and his vehicle.

Sacramento police spotted both Friday and detained Rogers.

Authorities have not said anything about a possible motive or the relationship between the suspect and the victim.

It was not clear if Rogers had an attorney.
