Elk Grove Teen Robbed at Gunpoint Near School, Good Samaritan Also Threatened With Gun

A 14-year old boy was robbed at gunpoint as he was walking home near a school yesterday afternoon in Elk Grove. 

The victim was at Lotus Pond Way and McLean Drive near Franklin High School when he was confronted by three Hispanic males who appeared to be 17 to 18 years of age. One of the suspects pulled a handgun, pointed it at the victim and demanded his property.

After complying the victim complied with their demands, the suspect walked away and were approached by a witness who advise them to return the property. The gun toting suspect lifted his shirt to reveal the handgun handle. 

The witness backed away as the suspects ran eastbound on Mclean Drive. The gunman was described as a Hispanic male juvenile, 5’9”, skinny build, wearing a black baseball hat with an orange logo, a dark blue shirt, jeans and while the second suspect was described was a Hispanic male juvenile 5’8”, heavy build, wearing a gray sweatshirt and sweatpants.
