What music would you like to hear when you walk into a room? "Never Would Have Made It" by Marvin Sapp.
What/where is your heaven on earth? Two places: right here at Restoration Center Church and San Francisco. There's peace and comfort at both.
What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? Born and raised here. I moved away to Georgia for a little bit.
What do you like about the Yuba-Sutter area? It is very diverse now compared to what it used to be. It's slow-paced but close enough to the big city.
What would you change about the community? Assess the needs of the community and come up with a solution. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own hustle and bustle we forget about others.
What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I met several rappers at the 2004 BET spring break. Last year, I met international pastor Joyce Myer when I took our dance group to Oakland for a youth council.
What would you do with a million dollars? Buy two lots, to build a boys/girls rec center and a homeless shelter. For myself, have a mommy makeover or buy my dream car.
Where would you like to spend a week? The cape off the Ivory Coast in Africa; Costa Rica; Jerusalem.
Who has been a mentor in your life? My pastor, Ada Terry, and my mom.
Do you have a favorite memory to share? As a kid, I grew up off B Street (in Yuba City). We had a humongous backyard (and garden). We spent our summers in the backyard — aunts and uncles would come over and laugh and talk while picking greens and tomatoes in the garden.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? A doctor or a nurse; and a hairstylist and an artist.
Favorite places to go to: San Francisco — I like to sit on the beach, have crab and make sand chairs. As kids, we did that.
What is your pet peeve? Fake people; disorganization and laziness; sense of entitlement; people who are real demeaning.
What do you like about yourself? That I am so flexible. I can easily adjust to any situation or environment.
