The cool thing about living on a farm here in Rio Linda.....is all the small businesses here will cater to their client. They know your first name.... treat their clients with respect.....honesty....and good ol fashion help.....like it used to be back in my early days (1950s). There is a lady that comes into Rio Linda with her bakery items......treating her clients with respect.....honesty....and good ol fashion help. I just love this small community life.
Farmer Deno just got my order from Popies Pastries. As arranged yesterday....she was suppose to be here at 11:45. She showed up at 11:44. I grew up with eclairs......back in the 50's of Newport Beach. I know what a great eclair is. These folks......are the best. Hands down! Fluffy firm pastry.......chocolate frosting is real.....creamy fill is not too heavy. I think she is under-priced.......at $2.00. Nice lady too. Next time I will double up.
I feel sorry for you city folks......I get home made pastries.....and you get Safeway's best !
