Citrus Heights Councilwoman and former Mayor Sue Frost held a lead Wednesday morning in the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors District 4 election.

When Roberta MacGlashan announced she would not be returning to the seat after 12 years, five candidates quickly announced their intent to run. Based on absentee ballots and 94 percent of precincts reporting, Frost had 29.3 percent of the vote. Mike Kozlowski was second at 20.9 percent, just ahead of Folsom’s Kerri Howell who has 20 percent.

None of the candidates have secured the majority needed to win outright, so the top two vote-getters will likely face a runoff in November.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
