Will you ship internationally?
We ship in the US and China. Shipping for other countries will be announced in the future once available.
Does the device need to be set up every single night?
It does not. Mooring is configured only once during installation and then works seamlessly in the background. It will automatically warn you if your environment isn’t ideal before you sleep, so you can make adjustments.
Does device work with Apple Health kit and Google Fit?
Yes, Mooring syncs data with Apple Health kit and Google Fit.
Does my phone need to be connected to device and tracker the whole time?
No. Mooring is not synchronizing with your mobile phone during the night, so it does not need to be connected the whole time. You can turn it off when you are outside the bedroom.
How is Mooring powered?
Mooring is powered via a mains plug (110-240VAC), the mattress cover is powered with 24V DC (max 120W).
Does Mooring integrate with other smart devices?
We will be integrated with Nest in the further. At this time, we are focused on building our API to support such use cases. We want other developers to also be able to build the integrations they want.
I am concerned about privacy. Will my sleep data leave my local network?
The data will be encrypted storage and transmission, and all the analysis and process work is anonymous. We provide the highest standards in security and privacy.
What smart phones and tablets is the Mooring App compatible with?
Apple iPhone 5 or newer, all running iOS 8.0 or higher. We also support most Android phones or tablets running Android v4.3 or higher.
What is the cost of shipping?
Mooring will be shipped at no additional charge within the US and China. Shipping costs for other countries will be announced in the future once available.
Is the Mooring waterproof? Can it survive the washer/dryer?
Yes, Mooring is waterproof, but it is not safe to put in the washer. You can clean your mooring by hand.
How much energy does it use? Will it increase my energy bill?
The max power of Eight is 120W, but it almost never runs at full power. Also having a warm bed allows you to turn down your heating system at night, therefore saving money.
What happens if my Wi-Fi is not working?
Your data will be stored locally on the device and sent to our cloud servers as soon as the Internet starts working again.
