STOCKTON-
Police are trying to figure out who torched six cars and trucks in one night in a northwest Stockton to neighborhood Monday.
Many of the vehicles were totaled after plastic bumpers or fender flares were lit by what might have been a hand held torch.
One disgusted victim, who didn’t want to be identified, said he was probably chosen at random by someone “who had nothing better to do.”
The grandmother of one victim said he had just paid off his car and also just paid a $500 deductible to repair his car after an accident.
One neighbor said he wasn’t able to sleep at night since the fires on Monday because he can’t fir his truck in his garage.
Police are looking for tips that might help them catch the arsonist.
