Grant of the Week: Fellowship for French Language, Literature, and Culture

The Phi Beta Kappa Society is seeking applicants for its Walter J. Jensen Fellowship for French Language, Literature, and Culture. The fellowship comes with a stipend of a minimum of $13,000 plus round-trip airfare, to support six months of continuous study and residency in France to provide recipients with a thorough and accurate understanding of French language, literature, and culture. Eligible candidates must have completed a Baccalaureate degree and demonstrate superior competence in French. The deadline for applications is October 1, 2008.
