WOODLAND-

An investigation into more than 100 burglaries culminated in the arrest of seven people in and around Woodland.

During November and December of last year, Woodland Police say they received reports of dozens of burglaries, with stolen items ranging from weapons to tools to household items.

At 6 a.m. last Thursday, Woodland Police, with help from officers from Sacramento, Davis, Yolo County, CHP and other agencies, served six search warrants.

Stolen property was found at the homes, all located in Woodland, and six people were arrested. A seventh person was on the run over the weekend, but turned himself in on Saturday.

They were booked for burglary, possession of stolen property and various drug charges.
