Alcazar played a drug trafficker in Luis Estrada’s narco-themed hit dramedy El Infierno (Hell). Diego Trujillo (El Capo) landed the starring role as Walter Blanco.
Metastasis will air in most major Spanish-speaking markets.
“We have spent an extraordinary amount of time developing a compelling, rich story with incredible production quality,” said Sony Latin America production executive Angelica Guerra.
