Grant of the Week: Advertising Educational Foundation Visiting Professor Program

AHA Staff | Jan 30, 2009

The Advertising Educational Foundation’s Visiting Professor Program is a two-week fellowship for professors of advertising, marketing, communications and the liberal arts (e.g. anthropology, English, history, psychology, and sociology). The objective of this program is to expose professors to the day-to-day operations of an advertising agency, marketing, or media company; and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas between academia and industry. Professors chosen by the VPP Selection Committee will be placed with host companies in New York City, Chicago, and other major cities. Participants are expected to be available for a full two weeks. Host companies pay housing and per diem. Professors pay travel and out-of-pocket expenses. For more information and instructions on how to apply see the 2009 Visiting Professor Program Fact Sheet online.
