Sac Metro firefighters say a brush fire spread to Mark and Monica’s Family Pizza restaurant early Monday morning in Carmichael.
Investigators say the damage to the business is estimated to be around $50,000, though firefighters note that it could have been much worse.
The fire was brought under control within about 45 minutes after crews arrived, Sac Metro said. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
No one was injured in the fire.
