The Entourage movie has a start date.
Writer Doug Ellin tweeted Wednesday morning that the movie, based on the HBO series, would begin shooting January 16.
But more importantly, he tweeted a photo of himself with the movie’s cast. That’s noteworthy since the hold-up for the movie has been a noisy conflict among the key principals regarding backend.

Jeremy Piven initially received a larger backend deal than the other actors — Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Dillon — expected and who then wanted pay more comparable with Piven’s.
The hold-up threatened the making of the movie, whose fate rested on getting the cameras to roll on time to receive a California film tax credit.
The photo seems to indicate everyone hugged it out.
