Miley Cyrus‘ MTV documentary got the “deluxe” treatment on Sunday, featuring a bonus 30 minutes of footage not previously included in Wednesday’s original broadcast.
Miley: The Movement Deluxe documents the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s “movement,” not “transition,” from family-friendly tween to twerking 20-year-old. The special features interviews with Pharrell, momager Tish Cyrus and Cyrus herself (dad Billy Ray Cyrus is nowhere to be seen, aside from photos of the singer’s younger days), set alongside behind-the-scenes footage of Cyrus rehearsing, traveling and recording. It all culminates with her shocking Video Music Awards performance alongside Robin Thicke.

Below, read 10 of the most memorable Miley-isms from the 120-minute broadcast.
On the Movement:
“For me, the movement needs to be something bigger than just a record. For me, a movement is something that represents taking over the world.”
On Controlling Her Image:
“My whole life it was never about having control. Shit would just come out with my face on it, and that was it. So now nothing can have my face on it, my name on it, that isn’t dope — that isn’t a part of the movement.”
On Her New Album, Bangerz:
“I’m starting as a new artist. That’s how I think of it.”
On Acting:
“I thought after my show I was gonna act. I did one movie and I came back and said, ‘I’m never doing that again. I’m going to do music for the rest of my life.’ “
On Life in Philadelphia:
“I see people, they’re walking behind their dogs, they’re cleaning up poop and they’re pissed about it. I’m so happy. I’m like, ‘I’m doing a normal thing! I’m picking up dog poop in a park and no one’s bothering me, no one’s talking to me, no one’s taking my picture.’ “

On Pushing Herself:
“I’m gonna sleep when I’m dead ’cause right now, this isn’t the time to be worried about how many hours of sleep you can get or how much you can hang out.”
On Criticism:
“I’m not really scared or insecure about anything because I’m used to people judging me. I’m used to people knocking me down, so I’m used to getting back up.”
On Her VMAs Performance:
“I’m a freak. I want to come out of a teddy bear for Christ’s sake — with a hand — I’m just a freak. I don’t think it’s that I’m smarter than anyone else, it’s not that I think, ‘Oh, you don’t get it.’ It’s just who I am and if I’m gonna perform, I want things around me that I like.” Later: “If I really wanted to come out and do a raunchy sex show, I wouldn’t have been dressed as a damn bear.”
On Her Image Revamp:
“It’s a strategic hot mess.”
On Lady Gaga:
“Most people don’t have their kid photos put up and then be like, ‘She’s changed.’ Well, yeah. If you put up a picture of Lady Gaga at 8, and then Lady Gaga [now], yeah, she’s changed.”
