Chris Rock, Kevin James and other stars are ready to play ball.
The comedians are set to take the field in the Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game, which will air live July 14 on ESPN.
The pair will be joined by George Lopez, Grammy winner Ashanti, Glee’s Chord Overstreet, Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan, Extra‘s AJ Calloway, Olympic gold medalist and ESPN analyst Jennie Finch and Desperate Housewives’ James Denton.

The MLB-sponsored game will take place at Citi Field, home to the New York Mets, and also feature former Mets catcher Mike Piazza, Yankees outfielder Rickey Henderson and former Yankees player Bernie Williams, who will captain the American League Team. Former Mets player John Franco will captain the National League team. Also joining the roster will be the No. 1 fundraiser for the MLB All-Star 5K & Fun Run benefiting Sandy Relief presented by Nike, which takes place July 13 in Brooklyn’s Prospect park. Previously announced former major leaguers participating in the game include Dwight Gooden, Darryl Strawberry, Andre Dawson, Rollie Fingers, Fred Lynn, Ozzie Smith and Frank Thomas.
The game will televised by ESPN at approximately 10:30 p.m. ET July 14, following the Chevrolet Home Run Derby, beginning at 8 p.m ET. Tickets can be purchased at the MLB’s All-Star Game website, Mets.com, the Citi Field Box Office or by calling 1-888-FanFest (326-3378).
