Following two weeks of dismal ratings for freshman drama Killer Women, ABC has shortened the run of the Sofia Vergara-produced drama and moved up the premiere for rookie Mind Games as part of its midseason schedule.
Mind Games, from EP Kyle Killen, originally was scheduled to bow March 11 at 10 p.m. and will now launch Feb. 25 at 10 p.m.
The move comes after the critically panned Killer Women, starring Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) opened to a dismal 0.9 among adults 18-49, slipping to a 0.7 in its second airing.
Dancing With the Stars will return March 17 at 8 p.m. and limited series The Black Box will launch April 24 at 10 p.m.
An all-new Disney-Pixar holiday special, Toy Story That Time Forgot, was added for the 2014 holiday season. ABC also set a special two-night Bachelor event featuring Juan Pablo Galavis on Feb. 24 and Feb. 25 at 8 p.m.
