I tried to install the latest (minor) OTA but assert failed. I read that i can change the script but i need up find the downloaded update first. Any idea where i can find it on my phone? (dropbox link from this thread is dead).
I've been following the news quite closely, and from what i gather, someone from HTC had posted a tweet about the 4.3 update planned for release by the end of September or early October in the USA. I would expect the international update to be released at most a few weeks later. I think HTC has really learned from its past mistakes and is taking the HTC One's updates more seriously relative to its previous flagships. So is there a information of when is Android 4.3 (with sense) rolling out officialy on HTC One ? Sorry for the dumb question !

Now, with 4.3 already a given, the real question is - will we (HTC One owners) get the KitKat update? :cyclops: I don't think Google will come out with another major release (4.5 or 5.0) before Q1 2014, which is the usual release window for HTC's next flagship device, so HTC might reserve Android 4.4 for its next flagship, in which case, we can expect a long wait (or probably never) to get official 4.4 update on the M7.

It looks like the 4.3 rollout is starting this week - https://twitter.com/JasonMacHTC/status/382228249151287296
Have they said -anything- about Sense 5.5?
I saw a leaked screen that people speculated might be 5.5 but it was hideous. I'm hoping they add more homescreen size grids and adding feeds to blinkfeed.
It's called blinkFEED for f**I()*Is sake.
Hey Guys,
I bought my phone a few months ago which came with Android 4.1. and my Cid is still 0
I've now shifted to India and haven't gotten any Andriod update and every time I check for software updates I get a 17mb software enhancement update regardless of how many times I install it.
Let me know if you guys have a solution I don't want to root my phone.
Thanks in advance
