Monty Python is getting back together — and now there is photographic evidence.
Though the group is expected to make an official announcement Thursday during a press conference, news is out that surviving members of the comedy troupe are planning a stage show. Britain’s The Sun broke the news of a reunion.
Eric Idle tweeted a photo of a table read with John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. (See the bottom of this story.)

“Extraordinary reaction to the Python reunion leak. Bids are coming in from all over the world. We’ll announce the winner tomorrow,” Idle tweeted.
It is not known if the stage reunion will future new or old material, or a mix.
“We’re getting together and putting on a show,” Jones told the BBC on Tuesday. “It’s real.”
Monty Python last appeared together in 1983’s The Meaning of Life, and though there have a been a number of close calls, a reunion has not taken shape until now. Most recently, Jones said the gang would reunite for his sci-fi film Absolutely Anything, for which the five would lend their voices. Ultimately, the film would feature voice work from all but Idle, thus not making it a full-fledged reunion of the surviving members.
