About the speaker
Mike Monteiro (in some circles better known as @Mike_FTW) brings more than a decade of experience creating outstanding visual and interactive design. He has served as lead visual designer for ReliefWeb, Six Apart, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and for the Glaucoma Research Foundation.
He excels in creating visual interface systems to aid navigation and clarify complex content. Mike founded Mule Design in 2001 along with Erika Hall.

After being recommended this talk from my design professor, I tuned in during some independent work time. So often in university we focus on software, concepts, process. This talk forced me to think about how I will position myself as a professional and the steps to get there. Thanks Mike!
