Performing at Thunder Valley Casino, a controversial show from the Philippines is helping typhoon survivors while touring in the US.

Singing in front of a crowd of hundreds, it’s hard to believe that cast members from “My Husband’s Lover” were near the center of devastation just weeks ago.

“The entire country is deeply affected by it. We are very glad and thankful that our fellow Filipinos and foreigners donate to the survivors,” said actress Carla Abellane .

While Thunder Valley had already donated $60,000 to the Philippines, they used the show as an added opportunity to take donations from the public.

“The United Auburn Indian Community consistently goes over the top in their donations to the community and obviously different countries in need,” said Jon Bow, spokesperson Thunder Valley Casino.
