WASHINGTON, D.C.-
Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson was in Washington, D.C. Tuesday night to attend a state dinner with President and First Lady Obama, French President Francois Hollande and around 346 others.
Johnson is scheduled to be back in Sacramento Wednesday night for his State of the City address.
According to CNN, Pres. Obama has only thrown six of the lavish gatherings – the same number as his predecessor George W. Bush. Presidents Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush each threw more than 20 and Ronals Reagan had 35.
Johnson tweeted his excitement Tuesday afternoon.
