Demi Lovato has yet to support her latest album, Demi, with a full-fledged tour, thanks in part to her time commitments as a judge on The X Factor. However, the pop singer has released a string of 2014 dates that will form her Neon Lights tour, named after her latest Demi single.

The arena trek will begin on Feb. 9, 2014, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and run through the end of March. A pair of up-and-coming girl groups with X Factor ties, Little Mix and Fifth Harmony, will serve as support; the latter took third place on the U.S. version of the reality show last year, which was Lovato’s first year judging the competition. Cher Lloyd, a former X Factor UK competitor who is currently touring with Fifth Harmony on the I Wish tour, completes the all-female lineup.
When asked last May why she opted to return to The X Factor for a second go-round instead of supporting Demi on tour this year, Lovato told Billboard, “When you have the opportunity to be in front of America every single week several times a week, that’s a very incredible opportunity, not only because your fans get to know you better, but … I was on the Disney Channel forever, and was waiting for that right job that would help me cross over to the mainstream world. I was not only in front of my fans every week, but I was also in front of adults. I never used to get recognized by adults, and now when I’m at the airport or the grocery store, the guy behind the register will be like, ‘I love you on X Factor!‘ It’s really awesome to have expanded my fan base.”

Tickets for the Neon Lights tour go on sale Oct. 5. “Neon Lights” is the third single from Demi, following the Top 10 hit “Heart Attack” and “Made in the U.S.A.,” which peaked at No. 80 on the Hot 100 chart. The ever-busy Lovato also will appear on this Thursday’s episode of Glee, as a love interest for Naya Rivera‘s character Santana Lopez.
